“Last night I had the strangest dream!” How often does someone tell you that? After being transported to the weird and wacky world of Alice in Wonderland last week, I did actually have some very strange dreams!

But what are dreams, and do they mean anything? Scientists have argues that our dreams reveal our deepest secrets and fears! I found this really interesting, and decided to investigate further…

• People

Ever had a dream about someone you barely know and you had no idea why? Maybe it was an old teacher or a celebrity, but dreams about people might symbols for other people. For instance dreaming about a famous dad in a movie could be a symbol for your dad. Dreaming about celebs might means that they play a part in your daydreams or symbolise things and places that you want to go to.

• Objects

Food- Dreams about food stand for new ideas and beliefs. For instance, dreaming about apples is meant to represent knowledge. Or dreaming about cake stands for all your achievements!

Keys: dreaming about keys means you have the solution to a problem- that’s handy!

Bed: your body is craving rest or healing

Cars: you strive towards your goals and want to achieve something

• Animals

Apparently, dreaming about animals’ means you’ve been neglecting your true feelings and wishes! Have a read on to find out what certain animals symbolise
