World Cup Fever

Happy Friday! Yay! What a week it’s been, it seems World Cup fever has taken over the country! So Australia lost the last game, but it is awesome that everyone is getting excited about sport and fitness, isn’t it? Getting active, working as a team, having fun – sounds like a recipe for a perfect afternoon.
Our New Zealand readers must be pretty excited too. The NZ team scored a goal in the last few minutes of injury time to come home with a tie. It was also the team’s first World Cup goal ever! Yippee!
As a side note – how cute is the World Cup mascot? His name is Zakumi and he is a leopard. His motto is, “Zakumi’s game is Fair Play!” Sounds like a fab motto to me!

I have recently just taken up Tennis. I really love it. It is so much fun running around the court hitting the ball but it is also very tiring,

hiiiiiii im alice and i’ve been playing netball for three years now my team is called the stars we win most our games exept 1 when we were up against a year6 team but they were 1 player short so they got a year8 to play! (im in year5) was soooo unfair and the year8 was playing center and so was i!!!!
