• Rihanna’s arrival in rainy Sydney was brightened by a big bouquet of red roses! Even though they were from an adoring fan, Ri-ri still looked super smiley. She then visited Sydney aquarium and ate pasta at a fancy Italian restaurant- yum!
• Cute couple Channing Tatum and his ‘Step Up’ co-star Jenna Dewey celebrated their Valentine’s day in Bali! Congrats to the happy lovebirds, who just got married!”
• As Rihanna arrived, Taylor Swift left Sydney, dressed in a baby pink top and headband. Tay seemed happy to be single this V-day and confessed; “I typically don’t ever have a boyfriend on Valentine’s Day.”I see it as an opportunity to just hang out with my other single girlfriends.” You go girl!
• Cutie Justin Bieber sang his heart out at a concert on Saturday before announcing his Valentine- his mum! “I have one person that I’ll be sending flowers to and that’s my mum,” says Justin. “She’s been there since the beginning and has given up a lot for me, I’m very blessed to have her.” Awww!

Our fave celebs know that valentine’s day isn’t all romance and red roses. In fact, its the perfect opportunity to express our love and gratitude for the people we care about, and that includes family, friends and pets!

We recently asked you ‘Why do you get excited about going back to school?‘ We kinda knew how much you guys love your friends, but now we’re REALLY convinced! Nearly all of you listed seeing your pals everyday as the number one reason you wanted to go back!

So in honour of all the BFF love we’ve spilled the secrets on what makes our fave famous besties- Selena and Demi- so close!

• Balanced besties

Selena and Demi have been pals since auditioning for the Barney show set at the age of seven. Both are mega talented actresses and singers, but they they never get competitive. When trying out for the same roles, Demi says that whatever happens, “We’re happy for each other”. Since then the two have shot to fame together, with Selena hitting the big time on ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ and Demi on ‘Camp Rock‘.their tight friendship even inspired Disney to make a flick about them. ‘Princess Protection Program!’

• Caring cuties

the BFF’s boost each other up when feeling down too. Selena spills, “I’m not always confident in myself, Demi’s there to support me and tell me “Don’t listen to that. Know who you are. ”
Demi also has her low days, when Sel has to encourage her.

Demi says, “I think the toughest thing for me is being able to tell myself that I’m beautiful. Selena totally helped me with growing up and dealing with a changing figure and face. She’s always been there for me”

• Awesome adventures

These BFF’s have shared some pretty crazy times together! The two have trekked through rain forests, shot movies and videoclips together and hung out with Miley, The Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift! But the gals insist that their downtime is just as important. “Selena and I take every chance we gets to have sleepovers,” says Demi. The girls do normal, girlie stuff and even get a little silly now and then! Once Demi and Sel dressed up really crazy and went shopping. Demi says, “We walked around to see if people would stare at us and think we were crazy. And they totally did!”

We were so excited to hear that Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasy tied the knot this weekend! A big congrats to the happy couple, who met two years ago on a beach holiday in the Bahamas. Kevin says that meeting Danielle was like ‘finding his princess’- awww!

Joe and Nick were Kevin’s best men, and the boys were probably as excited as he was. But will it be weird now that Kevin’s a married man? The boys are so close, they do everything together, and they hardly even argue! Nick says, “If there’s something we disagree on, we’ll have a conversation about it. But it’s not an immature kind of, ‘I’m right and I’m going to be stubborn about it”

How do you deal when you and your sibling disagree about something? Christmas can often mean a lot of intense family time, whether in the car or over lunch and dinner. Maybe we should all take leaf out of the JoBros book, and settle arguments calmly and rationally. I know I’ll try to!
