Yesterday, Hill’s, the maker of Science Diet and Prescription Diet pet foods, hosted the ‘Paws in Training’ event – encouraging all dog owners and dog lovers alike to get active and register for the Million Paws Walk! We had to share some of the cute pics from the day!

Hello Lovely People! It’s time to take a look at our BOOK OF THE MONTH from the Girl Power Book Club!

This month’s book is… Anna Flowers by Eloise Southby-Halbish & David Lawrence

What is this book about? A girl named Anna Flowers… wow, what a surprise! LOL! After losing her mum, Anna moves to a new town and has to deal with lots of tricky stuff like fitting in, making friends and dealing with grief. Anna also discovers netball! She loves playing netball but unfortunately, the school bully is also Captain of the netball team and she’s not so keen on Anna joining her squad… uh oh!

Who should read this book? Gals who love netball, or have moved schools, or have lost someone close to them… we can all relate to this amazing book which is funny and inspiring!

Tell me about the author! Eloise Southby-Halbish knows a little bit about netball because she used to play for Australia and was co-captain of the Melbourne Phoenix team! Now Eloise is a netball commentator for the ABC. Eloise wrote Anna Flowers with David Lawrence, a comedy writer who’s worked with Hamish & Andy!
