Newsflash! Joe and Demi Split!

It’s official… Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato have broken up! There was soooo much gossip about the pair’s future, but Demi took to Twitter just a few hours ago to set the record straight.

“There are so many crazy rumors flying around today,” she wrote. “I’d like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans. Just thought you guys should know this.”

Joe also released a statement saying that while they remained friends, it was his choice to break up. Wow. Way harsh Joe!

Happy Monday!

Hey Girl Powerettes! Hopefully you’ve had a fun and relaxing weekend, and you’re ready for this week’s fill of the juiciest celeb gossip!

Many congrats are in order for some of our fave stars. HSM hottie Corbin Bleu blew out 21 candles for his b’day last week! Corbin celebrated by doing what he loves best – performing on Broadway!
We’re sending birthday wishes to Twilight cutie Ashley Greene! Ash, who plays Alice Cullen, turned 23 last Sunday. She’s busy filming a movie in Germany, but hopefully she got to take some time out to have some yummy chocolate-dipped strawberries – her fave sweet treat!
Other members of the Twilight cast have reason to celebrate… Kristen Stewart won a BAFTA (a massive award in the UK) for being the best new rising star of 2009. K-Stew accepted her award wearing a glam white beaded mini dress and said “I have to thank all the fans of Twilight, for being the most devoted and attentive fans ever.”
Joe Jonas might be the next Spider-Man! This might just be a rumour started by Joe’s bestie Demi Lovato, but we think the spunky JoBro would make an awesome superhero! Rumours are also swirling that Joe has a new girlfriend, UK singer Pixie Lott! The two have been spending lots of time together, but both say they’re just friends. Hmm…!
In other Jonas news,Nelena might be back on! Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez were spotted having dinner together and even played a game of golf together on Sunday. True or false, we’re so glad this cute couple can still be friends!
Congrats to Hilary Duff, and Mike Comrie, who are officially engaged! Mike proposed to Hils in beautiful Hawaii! We’re sure Hils will make a gorgeous bride, and we’re so excited for the happy pair!
