Hi Girl Powerettes!

Have you got your mitts on the latest issue of Girl Power? Gracing our cover is the uber-awesome Katy Perry! She’s cool as a cat and totally creative, so we think she’s super inspiring! This month, we give you the latest on Katy plus Katy shares her confidence tips with GP readers… isn’t that sweet! We’ve also got all the goss on Justin Bieber’s new movie and we get to know Bella Thorne, the star of Shake it Up!

It’s our DIY spesh this issue - so we got our craft on to bring you some super ideas! There’s a fashion shoot featuring pieces you can make at home, plus we sat down to chat with a craft expert and found out all about the art of Origami! For cooking this month, we bring you snacks from the stars! Two celebs dished (see what we did there?!) on their fave recipes and we cooked ‘em up for ya!

Hiya Girl Powerettes!

This morning the GP team proudly walked into GP HQ carrying the latest GP mag in our super cute GP beach bag! And guess what girls… you can too! It comes FREE with the January issue of GP mag, plus there’s two colours to collect! Woo hoo!

Colour My World: Justin Bieber!

Hiya Girls,

In our October issue, we put in the CUTEST Justin Bieber colour in page! We’ve been flooded with awesome artworks – both by snail mail and via the web. Yay! You guys are just SO talented!

We thought we’d show off three of our faves, PLUS we’ve picked a winner! Presenting our finalists…

Bye Bye Bieber

Baby, baby, baby, woah!

Bieber fever has seriously swamped Sydney!

Yesterday 4000 fans turned up to watch Justin perform at an outdoor concert on the TV show Sunrise. Girls came from all over the country and camped out to see this superstar. Then the crowd got really chaotic so the concert was cancelled!

Luckily Justin performed one song back in the studio because he didn’t want to disappoint his fans… awww. Afterwards he said, “I would love you to stay and hang but you have got to go. The police say you’ve got to go home.”

Sadly, Bieber’s saying bye bye to Sydney today. Don’t worry if you missed out on him this time though, when asked if he’d return to Oz he said, “Yes, for sure I will be back.” Phew! In fact, he even spilled to one fan that he’d be back as soon as November! Let’s hope so…

Lucky for our NZ readers, Justin is set to touch down in Auckland tonight! What’s on his itinerary you ask? He’ll be performing on TV, plus one super lucky school is getting their own private concert! Justin also posted on Twitter that he hopes to meet the All Blacks rugby team. He’s only in NZ for 24 hours though, so we’re not sure if he’ll be able to fit it in!

Guess who didn’t miss out on Justin this weekend… Our lucky duck editor Amy!!! She got to meet him and get all the Justin Juice! You better keep a lookout in our upcoming issues because we will give you all the goss on Mr. Bieber.

OMG-It’s Justin Bieber!

If you havn’t jumped on board the “I love Justin Bieber” train yet, then you’d better soon! He’s coming to Australia in April!!!!!! A little while ago this is what he tweeted:

“Hey Aussie fans…my new single “Baby” is now available on iTunes! Can’t wait to come down under and see you in April..i want to see a wombat”

Justin’s not only a talented singer but he has some awesome dance skills up his sleeve! His tunes are filling up my iPod fast with top hits like One Time (my fave), One Less Lonely Girl, and now… Baby. Check out the acoustic version below:
